One other source of information for consideration is that Crosley was
partnering with a number of stations in the Central America's in the late
30's as well as CBS and RCA doing the same thing with the intended purpose 
of setting up regional networks.  These were used against Axis influence
during WW 2.  OldRadio.Com mentions part of the Central American information
when you look under international broadcasting and you can find Bethany Ohio
information (owned and operated by Crosley) under the Cincinnati radio
station listings.  This will link you to their site and some pictures of the
old Collins and Crosley equipment.

Barry also had a short article in the October 2003 issue of RG describing
the importance of the Bethany Location.
