KPLU's stream is fine at 48K AAC+. I've recently renewed my membership. I 
have the Tacoma, WA, station on my headphones day and night here in 
Cincinnati. I've also dropped my POTS service and now have Vonage. Time 
Warner Roadrunner is flat reliable.

Terrestrial broadcast is and will remain a significant component for 
one-way communication. I see its most important role in the future being 
emergency, last resort, informational broadcasting especially high-power 
AM. Rich Wood, just think, EAS and nothing but EAS!
