         Al, you are correct. My reaction and
         "send" was too fast and visceral.

         What I was trying to say, with a certain
         amount of hyperbole, is that too many
         people want everything on the Internet to
         be "free" .. and get obsessed over the least
         little attempt on the part of anyone to pay
         for the overhead.  Yet, they think nothing
         of the commercialism that pays the
         salaries of those in broadcasting.

         Sure .. there is a LOT of nasty coding
         going on, on the 'net.  I also get annoyed
         when someone throws up a window on me
         and there are none of the menus or buttons
         to do anything but close the window.

         I get annoyed when I load a web page and
         my speakers suddenly "roar" at full level with
         some silly promotional spot or advert.

         But it is a bit hypocritical for most of us to
         suggest that we provide content without any cost.
