I asked this question as well. Besides, KLRA was only 10 kW non d days, not 50
kW.
Obviously, Infinity didn't want a stand alone 10kW daytimer in Little Rock,
AR.

Why didn't WINS just keep KLRA, degrade it to a Class D, run it 50 KW
daytime only? To me, that was a good one sense (of letting out their
night pattern), but bad business move (loosing money) for Westinghouse
in another. I would have keep KLRA, and ran it as a daytimer or
directional at night, away from WINS.

1010 WINS bought them and killed 'em so they could let out the WINS
pattern. They, WINS, also paid to move a staton on 1000 in New Jersey to
another frequency. Just like WOWO, the little guy loses and the big guy
gains. We all know that NYC doesn't have enough signals.
