Until recently, I didn't realize that Sir Richard spun off the Virgin Radio
business several years ago -- it's now owned by the Scottish Media Group,
but still accessible from Branson's virgin.com homepage.
The station also deserves praise for keeping their website "Terms and
Conditions" down to a single common-sense paragraph, and for skipping
language like "... read this agreement carefully before using this
website... use of this website constitutes your acceptance to be bound by
this agreement without limitation, qualification or change... if at any
time you do not accept all the terms and conditions of this Agreement, you
must immediately discontinue use of this website", etc.
Perhaps they are able to devote more money to content and product because
they aren't spending a fortune on corporate lawyers.
