The problem with that format is it doesn't sell.  Ad agencies won't buy
it.  They can't think out of the box and believe the demo that listens
to that format is retired, not spending money, although, you can sell it
to local businesses.
WAMB (1200 AM) in Nashville does this type of format. I really like it.
Bill Barry, that owns WAMB, sells to local businesses, and supports the
station with a few talk programs as well on WAMB.
