That is certainly true. For uncomplicated operations
something less expensive might be the way to go.
However if it's not stable and locks up, that ends up
costing you.

With storage being SO inexpensive now, it's folly to
use digitally reduced or compressed files, and you
play with fire doing this if there's ANYthing digital
in the mix other than your automation. Compressed
files may be ok on an Ipod, but in today's broadcast
world it just is a bad decision.
