[BC] GE Superadio III vs. IBOC hash

I must be a gluten for punishment. BTW, Kevin, I get your point...real well.
This whole AM IBUZ thing would never have cut the engineering mustard during 
the time FM Stereo was being developed. I remember how concerned the FCC was 
about those with mono receivers being able to receive the signal properly. 
There seem to be no such concerns now. We had an FCC who was very careful 
about compatibility. This AM IBOC thing is just something that shouldn't 
happened. (I truly feel for you engineers in here who have to fire them up. 
It's an embarrassment to your profession) So now we take wideband receivers, 
like you speak of Kevin, and put them to the test? I think not!!! IBOC 
should be shelved immediately and wideband radios put back in vehicles. 
That's what I would do if I were king. Simply put, the IBOC thing is like 
putting 15lbs of *&^t in a 5lb bag. This is not the FCC I remember as a kid 
and any engineer in this forum who disagrees is in denial.

There. I've wanted to say this for a long time now it's off my chest. I 
know, I know, the horse is out of the barn. Who's fault was that?
