"Rio", in the mid-1980s, would have changed them all to our 10 kHz 
increments, and would have granted them Class A/B/C/D status, on the 
NARBA frequencies.


In 1980, we were considering going with a 9 kHz scheme, but we didn't.

Australia/New Zealand did, however, sometime between 1980 and 1981, and 
that's why our protectorates in the South Pacific are on the 9 kHz scheme.

But only those.
