>Based upon the knobs, it's some kind of RCA..
RCA did some knock-offs of WECo consoles for KHJ.
KHJ still had its WECo phasor and a 1 kW WECo auxiliary in the mid-1960s.
The main had been changed to an RCA 5.
All the consoles at KHJ-AM/FM/TV were changed to custom RCAs, which were
based, functionally and physically, on their WECo predecessors.
Beautiful consoles, actually.
The knobs were perfect imitations of the WECo originals.
Even Altec-Lansing, which got all the WECo audio input gear [ * ] did not
do justice to the original WECo knobs.
RCA got these right. And so also did Langevin.
[ * ] Except for any and all audio input gear intended for the motion
picture industry, which Litton, my former employer in another lifetime,
got by its acquisition of AT&T's Westrex Corp subsidiary.
