IIRC, and some of my brain still works, the DFW system was 2 LPB
AM-60TIS units, one at 34w and one at 36w IIRC... When it first went on
the air they received DX reports from Asia... Both were running into
Valcom 49' antennas with susbtantial grounding.
When I was at LPB we did a number of waivered systems with emergency
power options. These would run at the standard 10w (or less, as was
required to meet the field limits) and have an 'emergency' setting that
would flip them to 60w or 100w for evacuation and other critical
emergencies. These were typically depoyed around chemical and similar
facilities, downstream from major waterworks, and in hurricane zones. I
can think of a dozen that featured more than 10w power levels for
emergencies off the top of my head.
FYI, the 10w is NOT the correct limit. TIS systems are limited by
field strength 2mV/m @ 1.5km, or 10w, if that is required to reach the
field. Anything over 10w would require a waiver. LPB offered (still
does, I think) a Type Accepted 60w and 100w unit for TIS operations.
There is also a radiating cable TIS operation operation in the rules,
which allows 50w IIRC.

DFW Airport used to run 50 watts on their two TIS channels - 1640 and
1680 Khz.

Except in the case of LAX...who got a waiver and run a 100 watt TIS.
Burt can provide more details I'm sure...
