Three of Chicago's most admired and respected veteran radio 
personalities lost their jobs Wednesday as part of a sweeping 
nationwide cost-cutting binge at CBS Radio.

The legendary Dick Biondi, Fred Winston and Greg Brown, who had been 
relegated to spinning oldies on Internet and HD Radio channels when 
WJMK-FM (104.3) switched to the jockless "Jack FM" adult hits format 
last year, were fired.

As of today, oldies will air online and on HD without announcers.
