Even though a Trans O didnt fit in your pocket, a Royal 500 did, and the AM
section was almost as good. Used one when I was a kid on Hilton Head and
Myrtle Beach to listen to the Big Ape out of Jacksonville, FL till the sun
went down and they went bye bye.

Yeah, but it was cheap, ran on batteries and fit
in your shirt pocket. OTOH, a Zenith Transoceanic
was a good radio that ran on batteries, cost a
fortune and DIDN'T fit in your shirt pocket. <g>
