If you can get a *calibrated* trapezoid pattern on the screen, you should be 
able to, no? I use that old technique with my homebrew Ham rigs, and it works 
quite nicely.

Here at WFIF, we have a Belar mod monitor. Personally, I would rather have a 
mod monitor in *any* broadcast facility to keep it legal. Leave the "Close 
Enough" for Ham Radio.
