It is also one of the very first things to *fail*, as *everyone* with a cell
phone tries to use it... all at once. We've either been there to experience
it, or heard the reports of how the system collapses in any large-scale disaster.
Tom's right, and he raises a *very* sobering point of how this digital system
falls woefully short in the area of emergency broadcasts. His ideas are
absolutely outstanding and should have been incuded. Why they (or something like
them) weren't... who knows?
