I doubt that WSM will be sold. It's such an integral part of the Opryland
Complex - and getting rid of it would hurt tourism/visitors there.

Sooner or later, one of the big groups is going to make WSM an offer they
wont refuse, and it will just become another sports or talk outlet.  What
needs to be done is to get all those country artists together to buy the
station, and keep the programming as is, and turn it into a 50KW TIS
station.  If WSM goes away and the Opry, Nashville will suffer like they
have with so much of country going to Branson MO.  Like CMTV no longer plays
country music and has country oriented programs.  CMTV did a lot for
Nashville's tourism ans so does WSM.
