Hey Powell,
What are you doing up so early on a Monday Morning? Did Jimmy call
you in to work at the station this morning? Must be nice being retired
and playing radio when you want.
Next time you make a trip out, I want to go down to WFLI. When I was
a grade school kid, and I'm talking Kindergarten, I was one of the few
kids my age that had a pocket radio. WFLI, was know as Jet Fly, as I
remember, and I love to hear all the late 60's Top 40 records they
played.
My dad was working for American Tobacco Co. in Chattanooga in 1968,
he got me that little pocket radio, and I would fall asleep ant night
listening to them playing Tommy James & the Shondells, The Doors, The
Association, etc.
Scott
