I was involved with the four-channel FM fiasco.  One noon hour a 
bunch of us design guys and guys from GE were having lunch.  One of 
the GE guys (Tony) said that back in the two-channel stereo days they 
were initially going to license the manufacture of stereo generators 
but before that got off the ground they realized that a dime per 
receiver would be far more lucrative.  But it seems Ibiquity wants to 
get money from both transmitter and receiver manufacturers.
Greed.  Pure greed.
