>From the tube line up, it does appear to be 250 W. Blowing the picture up
a bit shows carbon plate forms and no caps on the modulators, thus it
appears to be 810's modulated by 845's. 845's were starting to become
expensive nearly 50 years ago, and I don't know anything commercial after
the Gates BC-1F and old design BC-250GY circa 1950 that used them in a new
design.
A close up of the nameplate on the front panel would help identify.
The logo look similar to the old Commercial Radio Equipment Co., but
Ev Dillard and Ed Lorentz were consultants AFAIK, although the box
might be pre-WW-II, when it wasn't that unusual for consultants to
build equipment. (Thinking here about the origins of ERI etc.)
