The logo look  similar to the old Commercial Radio Equipment Co., but
Ev Dillard and Ed  Lorentz were consultants AFAIK, although the box
might be pre-WW-II, when  it wasn't that unusual for consultants to
build equipment. (Thinking here  about the origins of ERI etc.)

Weldon & Carr Consulting Firm   became Continental  Electronics manufacturer 
of Phasors for Western Electric Company in 1946.
 
Incidently Continental Electronics celebrated its 60th year as a business  at 
the NAB this year.  It has been know as Continental Electronics most of  the 
60 years with a few changes usiually in type styles etc. for incorporation  
purposes.  Mr. Weldon was president and CEO from 1946 thru the late 1980's  for 
over 40 years.
 
I hope any of you at the NAB got some birthday cake at our annual Tuesday  
evening reception.
