Clarence,
   I never saw an application filed on this, but back in early 2004,
when the FCC opened up a AM Window, rumor had it Clear Channel wanted to
move KWKH to Dallas. Why, I don't know, but then there was a decision
against it, and leave it where it was.
   Seems like they own a good fair share of the Class A's out there, so
I'm sure they were looking into some big changes in 04 that were to rock
the AM world.

THE LATE 50;S WITH W.K.HENDERSON IS OWNER   IE"  K WKH.  HE WAS GUITE A
BROADCASTER AND ALWAYS FIGHTING FOR THE GOOD OF BROADCASTING. RUMOR HAS
IT THAT IN EARLY DAYS OF KWKH THEIR GROUND SYSTEM CONSISTED OF HOLLOW
COPPER PIPE WITH HOLES IN IT AND SALT WATER PUMPED THRU THEM
OCCASSIONALLY.   DONT KNWO FOR SURE, BUT IN ITS HEYDAY KWKH WAS A GIANT.
