I thought maybe you could rescan what you had, or perhaps you had
others that could show higher resolution of the logo.
The transmitter should be capable of operation if the modulation
transformer is good. That is the key. The 845's will be hard to
find, 810's easier. As for the rest of it and the general design,
if it was done by Ed Lorentz, he was one of THE great ones along
with Carl Smith and Bob Silliman.
You probably would need to replace all the oil filled caps with
non-PCB and obviously any electrolytics. You may also need to
replace quite a bit of wiring that is probably fiber covered
rubber.
Other than having a very nice output network with air variable,
this box is relatively similar to the original Gates BC-250GY.
At one time the FCC dictated tube lineups that would meet type
acceptance for various powers. There was also a section about
construction and data submission for "composite" (home-brew)
transmitters.
