[BC] Sta-Level, reviled- WHY?

Wow indeed! I have one of these innocent looking little boxes and I'm glad.
More glad now, actually, after having seen the comments of so many others
that appreciate it's worth. I could go on about being a minimalist, how
less is more, etc. but no need. Unlike many of today's processors this
little box does one thing and does it very well! (This is not a bad thing.)
Every now and then you come across something like that and it would be a
disgrace to discard it just because it's a little older than the average age
of the employees at the station it came from. I also have an older Symetrix
528 (not 528E) multi-function processor. After all, it's not just a mic
preamp. But, because it's an older model and doesn't have the phase
correction circuit I'm not going to throw it out. I'll just put my even
older Kahn Symmetra-Peak in line behind it!
Here's to us old farts and our fun old toys -- CHEERS!
Best Regards,

Man... why do you have to be so condescending over this piece of vintage
gear? Did one fall on your head when you were a kid, making you need
stitches? My
goodness! You almost act as if the thing traumatized you in your youth, or
something.
It's *just a piece of gear* and just because some people still have a use
for
them doesn't make them dolts, idiots, or fools. Wow!
Willie...
