WPAQ was a REAL radio station!  The owner had his old mind in the right
place and that was in the community.  What a rich heritage is found in North
Carolina Appalachian territory.  The more the young folk probably made fun
of him, the more he just kept showing them how it all worked.  That is why
there is the question if someone can step up and keep it all together, my
dad and many other fellows that those on this list knew or know are or were
just like that.
