[BC] Can anyone ID this automation system?

You would have to mention DigiLink. Not near the top of my list. In fact,
not on my list at all. As for background recording it can be done with no
problems now. Maybe they didn't have that down when you were first testing
it.
Oh, BTW Glen...let's just move on from here if we can, k?
