Article in local paper today. regarding cable and their protesting cable  
subscription and non-pay programming is starting to backfire.  While along  with 
tiers and ala-carte cable in the wings,  TBN is requesting its viewers  to 
contact both Congress and the FCC so the can get cable carriage of their  other 
three SDTV channels that they are now programming since their FCC  
licensedstations have the ATSC Digital TV system.  It appears that cable if  faced will 
alacarte has suggested that religious channel will become a purchase  tier.  The 
religious channels don't care for that.  They would rather  have their 
cheenls interspersed throughout the channel numbers.  Its  seems that the religious 
groups so intent in going after the cable folks for the  subscrioption and 
scrambled channels as well as regular movies in the free tiers  may be placing 
themselves in jeapordy for their existing channels.
