[BC] Administrivia - posting difficulty may be resolved

Good afternoon!

We've been having a problem over the past week, and it may have been
resolved in most ways, today.

Last week Chris activated an SORBS filter, which stopped the flood of
spam from "fake" addresses trying to put stock tips and genital
enlarging products onto the list.

However it also appended a "{Spam?}" label to many posts, dumping
them into the admin basket. For example:

     List: Broadcast at radiolists.net
     From: radiofldude at aol.com
Subject: Re: {Spam?} Re: [BC] Old Arrays
Reason: Message has a suspicious header

Since some of you have ISPs who filter and then block the list
because of the "spam" word in the subject, we need to block such from
going straight through ... or many of you would suddenly see the list
"disappear."

The SORBS filter is off again, so this should "relax".

ANOTHER ISSUE

However, there is another issue worth mentioning. For many reasons,
including efforts to avoid overloaded inboxes, some of you post from
addresses that are not subscribed to the list. To try to prevent the
spammers (and we get lots of them - want a sample? Write me privately
and I'll send you some samples of what tries to get on the list), we
"trap" any emails not from subscribers.

This includes "extra" addresses you may use from time to time. I can
handle some of that manually, but if there are delays, perhaps you
now know why.
