I've seen this in person, as well... a surprise FCC inspection, where the
Inspector said that this was not the same station he had inspected
years earlier.
(He last saw it when it was under the control of the former owner. I know
I've told that strory before... he wrote the guy up with a 13 page list of
violations. Ouch.)

What it boils down to, is that when the Inspector sees dilligence and
attention to detail, he knows he doesn't need to get out the
fine-toothed comb and
white gloves. The *only* thing he noted was that the Ownership Report was
outdated. 2 minutes later, a new one was faxed to us, and all was
well with the
world. He said that it was a pleasure to inspect us, and wished us well as he
departed.

We all celebrated. WHEW!

Thinking of Ownership Report... I wonder why those things expire if there has
been no change in ownership. One of the mysteries of bureaucracy, I guess.

Willie...
