But what about the FCC? If a station's license says "Daytime" and there is no
PSSA, then what? Are we advocating deliberate Rules violations? (Not that
they aren't already rampant, but let's not encourage *more*.) Perhaps there *can*
be special STA's (or licence ammendments?) issued to Daytimers exclusively
for the carriage of local HS sporting events. That would solve the Rules
violation problem, and allow legitimate post sunset carriage of HS sports by
Daytimers. The special PSSA could be set on a case-by-case basis, and require regular
renewal. (IOW, if the station sells out, and the new owner dumps the
programming, they lose the special PSSA also.)
