I was up at the KEYZ 660 transmitter site a few weeks ago. Now, i was barely
200 yards from the towers.. so I expected severe reciever overload.
Not only did KEYZ show up on 1320, the stereo light was rock solid. Is that
normal to have the AM Stereo show up on the 2nd harmonic?

Is KEYZ sending a 25hz C-Quam pilot tone that you know of? If not, it could
be just a receiver intermod/overload issue where some other signal is mixing to
some degree on 1320 that is generating within the mix, a 25hz tone, causing
the receiver to think that the signal it is "hearing" has a 25hz pilot tone on
it, thus tripping the stereo indicator. Many "strange" things can happen with
a receiver if you have several strong signals nearby.
Otherwise, if KEYZ is indeed sending a 25hz tone, then it is very possible to
have the receiver pop on the stereo light if you are close enough to the
transmitter.
BTW, if anyone has an old C-Quam exciter and mod monitor that they want out
of "the back room", I have an AM station that would be glad to do something
with it...even for just the cost of shipping to get it out of your hair.
