[BC] Jean Shepherd

Does anyone know whether PBS ever released "Jean Shepherd's America" on 
VCR or DVD? Somewhere in my basement I have all 13 episodes on 3/4" from 
WNET/13 New York circa 1975 but notwithstanding that my 3/4" player died 
years ago,  my guess is those 30+ year old tapes are of questionable 
quality by now.
