This is just another example of how the USA is becoming a third world country
intellectually and technologically.
Profit$ over research every time!

Interesting article. The developer who just bought it is the same
guy who rehabbed the old Simpson paper mill warehouse which now houses
the Radio One Philadelphia facility I built out four years ago. He
has successfully converted many other old industrial buildings to
"Class A" office space, including the Lee Tire factory, the Baldwin
Locomotive works, and an ancient Philadelphia Electric generating
station in Chester, PA -- but he can't figure out what to do with Bell
Labs....
