[BC] Bell Labs building to be demolished

Don't you think it interesting that the drug companies now spend, on the
average, three times more on marketing then on research?  If you watch
television these days it would appear that we are all unhealthy, or at least
suffering from sexual dysfunction on an epidemic scale.

My father was a doctor.  He was famous for throwing drug company "detail
men" out of his office.  His comments about the drug company marketing
tactics were rather brisk.

The drug companies wouldn't dare cut back on their research lest they lose
all of the precious tax dollars we give them. And of course, that means 
money now going to
shareholders would have to go back into their own expenses.
