Pardon me if this seems naive but I thought IBUZ was supposed to 
eliminate all that stuff and bring us pristine almost-kinda-nearly FM 
quality AM. I noticed problems with FM IBUZ when signal levels 
dropped. Lots of mode switching in this mountainous terrain. If all 
the static went away wouldn't most of AM's analog problems go with 
it. What does a station gain by spending $100,000 or so to fix their 
site only to have the same result at the listener end?
