[BC] computer question

It's kinda my fault.  I never followed up.  Here's what we found.
I shut down the computer and removed the mouse. Rebooted that computer to the point where windows stops because on fo mouse.  Shut down again, replaced the mouse and fired her up again.  This time it booted all the way, and the mouse worked.
Thanks to all who helped.  I knwe this was the right place to go.
