[BC] BUSH ORDERS UPDATE OF EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM

I almost hate to see them address cell phones. We already have reverse 911
here, and they use it for all kinds of annoying stuff like if the water is
going to be shut off 30 blocks away, etc. A real annoyance in most cases.
In the case of severe weather like hurricanes, we know it's coming long
before they need to tell us via text EAS. A waste of tax money. It's one
of the reasons I turned off my weather radio. They alert zones way beyond
what they need to.

It *might be* that someone read some of
the suggestions in the recent Rulemaking.

We'll have to upgrade the specifications for
         the AMBER Operators Corps.

Rich - there may be a new carrer for you here!
