 Now, why would you say that ?

 It's known that the efficiency of a skirted stick is always slightly LESS than
 an equivalent series fed !

 In other words, the feed system has virtually NOTHING to do with the
 efficiency of radiation, and a skirt is nothing more than a feed system !

 By "unipole" I'm assuming you mean a skirted grounded stick
 of the same construction type used to support freeway lights
 as opposed to a conventional lattice tower ?

 Note that their is no difference as far as radiation, though a conventional
 tower has less wind loading.
