I have on my bulletin board here a yellowing editorial cartoon (frlom
2002, drawn by Matt Davies of the Westchester Journal News) showing a
guy yelling into a cell phone, which reads as follows...
"Yes....hello, I'm calling to voice my outrage at your plan to construct
a new cell tower in my neighborhood..."
"I SAID...I'm calling to complain about a cell tower you're...hello??"
"Yes, the CELL TOWER...I said I'm opposed to...Hello???"
(thought bubble) "@*#! cell phone reception!"
Which pretty much says it all.
