Getting rid of the signal interference during heat inversion season from
Shreveport, LA is worth the trip and it will serve the audience that wants

Steve:
The inversions are an anomlie that exists with every station a few times a
year. The difference in the case with the present channel 101.1 vs. the
religious band is that the religious band does not have the milage separation
protection between 101.1 in Dallas and 101.1 in Shreveport. No one can violate
those curves without major rule changes.
The religious band has a lot of overcrowded channels and alot of granted
adjacent channel waivers. New KVTT channel may be a 100 kW. at 2349 ft. MSL
equivalent to Cedar Hill tower tops but the frequency does not have the milage
protections that 101.1 does. Is WRR Class C or C0 now? I don't believe any
tower will be built in the area above 2349 msl? I don't live there any
longer so I am not up to date.
I believe Mr. Moncure and Mr. Hass are correct, the only thing that is
equal is the e.r.p..
