Thanks for the clarification. I have not follwed AM allocation issues
closely. I know the choice as to which stations got a CP for the expanded
band was based on which stations, if they were to move off their current
channels, would eliminate the most interference. Has the lack of
authorization of new daytime stations indeed permitted some stations to
increase daytime power? Actually, I do know of one former daytime station
where I increased it from 500W day to 5kW DA-N that was taken off the air
to permit another station increase to 50kW.
