[BC] Class A stations "burning" power

The power required to achieve the equivalent field strength at one mile of  a 
5 kW. station on 1590 based on the frequency difference and the conductivity  
may have to be 23 kW.
 
Sort of like they have done for TV     Low Band ERP is  100 kW.  High Band is 
316 kW. and UHF ias 5 Megawatts.  This is to  keep the coverage areas equal 
for the difference in frequency.
