If that's all you saw, then you really missed it... the AV is a very 
powerful, flexible system. Not only does it play files, it can be programmed to record 
feeds from satellite, and send ASCII command strings via serial ports to 
various outboard devices, be it switchers or satellite receivers. Our system is 
running two switchers and two steerable satellite boxes. It has three (of 8, 
total) soundcards dedicated to recording feeds form the Bird, three dedicated to 
production, and one for on-air. There is still one card that has yet to be 
assigned to something. I love it!!

It's very stable and extremely reliable. (I reboot it weekly to keep Windows 
happy. It gets stupid after about a month.)
