Remember the transmitter cleaning soup that Collins and others prescribed?
I can remember buying a gallon of Carbon Tet from a supplier in OKC who
advised me to keep my liver away from the stuff.

It was banned ~1968, as I was just starting in the radio biz.. Not that I
didn't come into contact with plenty of it....
