[BC] Class IV query

The big one in Syracuse was WOLF 1490, which hung in through the late
'70s. See:

Another upstate NY Class IV that made surprisingly good numbers (with
"Music of your Life") was 1230 WECK in Cheektowaga/Buffalo. As
recently as 2002, it still had greater than a 4 share 12+, in contrast
to 50 kW WWKB's measley 0.4.
BTW, the station was founded in 1956 by legendary radio-eccentric
Gordon Brown as WNIA -- but after he sold it, the calls were changed
as a tribute to Buffalo's tasty "Beef on Weck" sandwich:
