Even more so when you realize that the photographer who appeared in the piece is the chief photographer of the
ABC affiliate in town, and the "friend" is an ex-anchor who's contract recently wasn't renewed. The FOX anchor 
wrote a very moving article too. The AP presented an Outstanding Contribution to Broadcasting award to Jerry
earlier this year. Jerry was competitive, but was willing to help others whenever he could.
