< No one has been providing an answer to the question of
whether TV translators will be converted to DTV by the February
2009 cut over date -- or if they ever will be switched to DTV.

  Translators can flash cut to 8VSB earlier, change to 8VSB at the gun shot
or stay as analog.  Meaning  get a 8VSB input converter to NTSC.
  Only "out of core" channels must change channels then or beforehand
or go dark with "the shot."
