The Vista stickers just verify that the hard ware has passed Microsoft's
hardware compliance test to be compatible with Vista. Handy to know if
you every lose you mind and decide to go to the dark side.
The do extensive testing of all hardware... my son works in their Router
testing lab.

I just received my new Panasonic Toughbook CF-74. I specifically
ordered it with XP-Pro. Imagine my surprise when I pulled it out of the
box and it had VISTA stickers in numreous places.
It does in fact have XP-PRO but included in the package is a VISTA CD.
