Agreed as we have several Latitudes in the office that are on the go daily
and we have little to no issues with them and if we do Dell takes care of
it.  I'm typing this on one of their Precision M90 17" laptops and they also
offer a laptop that they claim is indestructible.  It's expensive but I hear
they are truly heavy duty.

Ed - My experience has been you get what you pay for.  I've had good luck 
with the Dell Latitude series.  You pay the extra $$ for the three year 
warranty and by then it doesn't matter.  We've got a few dozen Latitudes out

in the field in our company and they seem to be okay.   You can get a decent

Latitude for about the same $$ as a Macbook.
