Most networks do use some form of audible/subaudible
tones for those affiliates whose receivers are at a tx site.
We have a local competitor whose studio faces a mountain
so the dish must be at the tx. If one uses contact closures
from the satellite rx, there has to be a way of getting those
to the automation at the studio.

Has WWI confirmed they no longer use 25/35? We've had
many issues with WWI. A dead MAX, Master Control not
increasing uplink power during heavy rain/snow at the uplink
site causing the network to drop out. This happened over
several days and affected every affiliate.
