Of course, as I travel around, I find places where the entire
reserved band is religion! Just try driving across West Virginia!
West Virginia Public Radio DOES carry NPR's News and Information
programs, but otherwise.

DC is interesting too. Right off the top of my head:

Columbia Union College, WGTS, Christian Contemporary Music. I miss
their classical music format.

Radio One, WPRS (WXTR forever and a day), Gospel.

Salem Communications, WAVA-FM, a mix of conservative Christian talk
and music.

Salem Communications, WAVA-AM, more religion. It was religion before
Salem paired it back up, and was owned by a very nice Jewish
gentleman, and had a VERY dedicated, and genuinely nice, but very
small staff. I worked on their transmitter to put them back on the
air a few times, including one very full night and never charged
them. Great people.

Don't know owner, don't know call sign, but 1030, a relatively new 50
kW day timer.

Don't know the owner, but the GM and engineer are great peop.le,
WFAX, 1220.

Radio One, WYCB, 1340 (I think), Gospel.

Radio One, WHFS (the old WPGC-AM), was Gospel, but my wife told me
they "parked" the WHFS call letters there and had some talk
programming. I suppose I could look these up.

Go further out into the suburbs, and there are even more. At my
house, I can get some West Virginia stations.
